Good problems to have! Pausing new client service work
Hello all! Over the course of the last year we have been working on a variety of things whether it be a restoration with the Honda CBX, revivals like the Suzuki TS400, customs like the Yamaha XS400, or service work on a range of vintage makes. To say Seth and I have been busy would be an understatement!
In the recent season we have started taking on more service work due to a high demand and have been enjoying the new projects, challenges, and of course relationships that come from them. We are very fortunate and honored to have so many people wanting our services and greatly appreciate everyone's patience as we work through all of it. Due to this demand we have built up a backlog of customer work which will keep us busy for the next few months. With new service requests coming in each day I do not want to extend this backlog more than unrealistic so a temporary pause is needed.
As of today (May 30th 2025) I am putting a hold on all new service requests for the next few months as we work through what we have. This allows greater focus on what is in front of us and less on meeting a schedule which vintage machines never play well with! If one thing is predictable, it is that vintage motorcycles are unpredictable and often need more work than expected. With that being said, all new service requests will have to wait. I will gather your information and communicate this hold. Your contact information will go on a list organized by contact date and once this hold is completed, I will reach out from said list to schedule new work. I feel this is the best way to keep things organized.
I understand that this can be frustrating as it is very hard to find places to perform quality work to your vintage machines. If you have reached out, gone on "the list", and soon find an opening at another shop I completely understand. Simply let me know if you wish.
Thank you so much for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Bj
